Tall Bearded Iris 

This iris is magnificent! It was the last introduction by a very popular hybridiser who has been putting his energy into daylily hybridising. A good friend of Joseph Ghio, Joe introduced it on Bill's behalf.  Produces giant brilliant golden blooms with laced and ruffled form, standards are brilliant gold and falls are white with gold blending to a muted gold band, beards are golden. This iris is a standout in any garden and has won a swag of awards.  Honourable Mention: 2007, Award of Merit: 2009, John C. Wister Medal: 2011, American Dykes Memorial Medal: 2013

Iris flowering season commences in early October  and if weather conditions are ideal can continue well into November. Orders will not be dispatched until after flowering, it is important the rhizome is given time to put on growth after flowering so we aim to dig your order early December, weather permitting. Our rhizomes are trimmed washed, sanitised and left a day or two to dry, this makes your buying experience a positive one.
