GIRL'S GOT RHYTHM - B BLYTH AUS 2013 - Flowers Mid season 36"

Tall Bearded Iris

Salmon Pink with some extra colour shading added. There is a rose infusion at the midribs of the salmon standards and the falls have a rose overlay over the lower2/3's of the falls. There is a lighter area around the vivid tangerine beards and an 1/8" edge of the standard colour. Wide rounded form. Very conical and closed standards. This description was used when it was introduced by the Hybridiser B Blyth.  This is very popular with our visitors and is one of the reasons we have not listed it until now.  I remember writing the garden label for this variety one year and by accident put "Girl's Got Attitude" kiss it just goes to show how some people are attracted to plants by their names not just their beauty. If you have purchased this from us at our open garden events in previous years you may have it noted as the latter, although I did correct on the order forms. Love this one.

Iris flowering season commences in early October  and if weather conditions are ideal can continue well into November. Orders will not be dispatched until after flowering, it is important the rhizome is given time to put on growth after flowering so we aim to dig your order early December, weather permitting. Our rhizomes are trimmed washed, sanitised and left a day or two to dry, this makes your buying experience a positive one.

This variety was replanted and therefore will not be dispatched until after flowering, it is important the rhizome is given time to put on growth after flowering so we like to wait until at least the 1st week of December, this makes your buying experience a positive one.

Please Note:

As a bio security requirement all orders received from Western Australia and Tasmania require a Plant Health Certificate and treatment of plants before an order can be processed and dispatched.
