Tall Bearded Iris 

Coming from a strong plicata breeding line, though it is not a plicata. It is this very dark spectacular Iris. The standards are rich reddish purple, deepening towards the outside and falls are velvety red black, finished off with bronze black beards. Wide and lightly ruffled blooms on strong show stems. Always in high demand and photos don't do it justice! Anyone that sees it flowering adds it to their list. Just Stunning! A Must Have

Iris flowering season commences in early October  and if weather conditions are ideal can continue well into November. Orders will not be dispatched until after flowering, it is important the rhizome is given time to put on growth after flowering so we aim to dig your order early December, weather permitting. Our rhizomes are trimmed washed, sanitised and left a day or two to dry, this makes your buying experience a positive one.
